The Health & Fitness Association's reach spans the globe, and so do our membership benefits.

Whether your club is located in Europe or Latin America, Health & Fitness Association membership comes with resources and programs that will strengthen your business. All international members receive discounted attendance at HFA's meetings, trade shows, and events; access to HFA's publications and resources; access to the member-only section of the HFA website; participation in HFA's programs, and more.

Europe

In 2016 we opened a Health & Fitness Association Europe office in Brussels, Belgium, to better serve and engage members across the continent. The multi-lingual HFA Europe team strives to provide pan-European networking and learning opportunities, and to quantify and track the growth of the European industry.

Several of our programs are designed for European members, including the European Congress, a three-day executive-level event, and the Passport Program, which extends discount guest access for your members at more than 1,000 health club worldwide and provides your club with an easy way to increase non-dues revenue.

Latin America

The Latin American health club industry is experiencing rapid growth. That’s why the Health & Fitness Association has dedicated several programs to benefitting clubs in this developing region.

Resources for Latin American members include the 2024 Latin American Fitness Consumer Survey—a comprehensive examination of consumer fitness trends in Latin America. We also partner with local associations and events, including the annual HFA / Fitness Brasil Latin American Conference & Trade Show, ACAD, and Mercado Fitness.

Asia-Pacific

We work closely with all Asia-Pacific country associations to build a stronger industry in the region. We also strive to provide additional pan-Asian networking and learning opportunities, such as ChinaFit/HFA China Management Forum, the Sportec/HFA Management Seminars in Japan, and other events to identify and track key industry market data across the region.

The HFA also published two research reports, Reversing the Physical Inactivity Crisis: Fitness Affordability Report - Japan and Reversing the Physical Inactivity Crisis: Fitness Affordability Report-Singapore. The first-of-their-kind reports empower fitness industry leaders and policymakers with compelling data to champion fitness affordability as a key strategy in combating physical inactivity.
