HFA Asks Health Clubs to Rally Members Behind HSA Fitness Coverage

    Now is the last chance to get HSA fitness coverage in the Congressional package.

    Right now, Congress is finalizing the tax reconciliation package, and a critical opportunity to allow Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) to cover gym memberships is hanging in the balance.

    A provision in the bill would allow people to use $500/person or $1,000/household from their HSA to pay for gym memberships, youth sports, and fitness classes. This would be a game-changer for our industry and the health of our communities.

    But here's the catch: Congress needs to hear from your members— the ones who stand to benefit the most.
